Situated in Terminal 1 at LAX, the design of CPK steers away from the corporate approach used in most of the brand’s locations. The entire overhead structure of the pizza kitchen is clad with sculpted layers of
soaring wood slats, with the angle changing along the length of the wall, creating an illusion of an art installation. A cantilevered steel beam between the slats is a signage canopy for this restaurant.

A bank of seating, using wood and upholstered furniture, parallels the length of the counter in the ample open space that echoes the modern industrial feel of the design created for this location.
